Nice work radman. Leaving the poor windsurfer back there trying to get some speed. I keep asking myself why? Why bother? But alas they keep doing it.

Nice review pictures speak a thousand words, then a video a million maybe.

nice vid.
a question on technique...
the downloop at 2.25 - looks like you rotate the bar before the kite turns.
is this the move - right hand fishpoles the right bar-end, left hand grabs the right end underhand and passes it back to the right hand?

Hmm ........... I call it instinct riding left hand waves in wa cross on or cross. Cross off enables tensioned lines as you run toward your kite down the line let your hands leave the bar and yank on a hand ful of bottom rear line and enjoy the ride

Bottom end on 8 mt 83 kg on surfboard 17 - 20 kns have had it out in 25. -30 kns and have found that be the useful wind range for unstrapped wave riding I prefer to change down above 26 kns as smaller kite the better for waves in my book, kite stil steers depowerd but you will have some canopy flutter across the top of the window

Radman, i noticed on your vid that you pull and release your centre lines every now and then when your on the wave, is this to give you a boost of power or to stop kite crashing, i have only ben kiting for 14months and just getting into waves and was wondering why you do it.
Thanks

nice vid radman

how you finding the boards are holding up from punts etc ?
what you've gone for look pretty similar in style/shape to the drifter, though obviously not PU, and they seem to work well! yeww but wondering if you fear snaps often? or just go flat our regardless...

cheers

No worries with construction only board I've ever had that hasn't caved in after stomping big air my last one had for 2 years started to crak on the dek but was a simple repair down side is fcs and a very stiff board they seem to wear in after a couple of sessions flex improves my last one blew off the roof at 110 and came out unharmed and the flex was better from that day on

G'day wheels boards from geraldton surf and sail he always has good range of tuff lights and can get what he dosnt have neo is 4 line but has 5 line option although it is not rigged to the 4 line bar I assumes rebel bar would fly it as a 5 line but would still be on the bridles so no real benefit other than safety

Thanks, the SUP i have at the moment is tuff lite construction i love the shape of this board but as for the construction well its not that tough, i am wondering if the kite boards would be more resistant to damage?
