Living in the windiest town on the Eastcoast and only weighing 65k and 0nly recently joining the 'dark side' i find most of the kite reviews don't apply as riders are usually a bit heavier
I ride a Naish 10m torch which gets me going in 12kn but a bit difficult to handle in 25kn which is often this time of year
I recently bought a 7m NEW as a high wind kite but this 'little ripper' is so light and fast it gets me going on a twin tip easily in 18kn and still feels light and easy in 30kn
I don't have the experience to give a good review but compared to an 8m torch i have borrowed the NEW has a lighter bar feel and is a bit more reactive and depower seems better-5th line also works better as it is adjustible at the bar for more depower in strong gusts -overall a great little kite

Hey Tony! Thanks for the comments on the 7m.
It a beauty, I can use it up to 40 knots

Its encouraging to see positive comments about an Australian kite. Comparing it to Naish proves its not a bad piece of kit.

I agree,

Nice kite, super quick, like a bumble bee on speed. If I didn't have a new quiver I would have gone for a 14m, 9m and a 7m. I am fairly new in the sport and haven't tried alot of brands but I put them up in the top 5 kites I've triedor even top 3.

Even though I am a pending Aussie, I feel its allways good to support local industry especially if that company/member goes that extra mile and offers a very competitive product.

Cheers
