My Comments:
I have never posted before in my life, but after 3 sessions on the Dundee I just feel obliged to share. And what can I say, it is absolutely fantastic. As a heavier guy gear is always a bit of a challenge, as is gear advice. I have ridden it with both my 2012 Core 17m and my 2011 Switchblade 11.

As I have 3 kids, ages 14 - 21, all who kite we have got a fair bit of kit. And I have to say I really like most of it. I came most recently off a Cabrinha chopstick 154, but also have a Singshot SX 147. I had sampled a few kites on the way including my sons Cabrinha Custom 138, my other sons Underground STYX 135.

So after reading the hype I just took the plunge and bought one from kite surf SUP in Perth.

As anyone knows, Melbourne on the bay, especially from Hampton beach offers its own challenges, and this board has simply exceeded anything I could have expected or hoped to get get. I am planing earlier than on my chopstick, pointing harder than on the custom and the ride is just sublime, so easy on the joints.....which at my 50yrs is crucial.

I can repeat what the brochures say, but I can't explain why it is soooo good. And for all you bigger guys, I was seriously concerned that at 135 it would not deliver, but it really does. It's board gives so much of everything, and that's after 3 sessions. I have no idea what the other boards in the range are like, but this one is a friggin gem.

Cheers

My sentiments exactly. You can read & talk all you like but at the end of the day its not what it is but 'how it does it'.

Awesome board. Bought a 131 x 41 from Phil and loving it.

Good comments but additionally: great edge hold, (I'm 65kg and was on a 9m in 25-30knots and it just locks in), great carving, planes very easily even at low speed and the rocker keeps the nose up which is great in the chop / swell and saves having to load up the back foot too much. Jumps well too but not as pop happy as a dedicated wake style board. It's also really fun to ride very fast, something which I got caned doing on my old board and pulls upwind like a demon :)

I Read lots of reviews on here before buying but the proof is in the trying and I was sold. Straps are now finally bedding in and are very comfortable, they do feel a bit weird at first for those trying one out.
