And Cauncy, i hear ya, but am continually amazed at the beatings my edges take and keep comin back for more...
Not across the size range, maybe the 9 to 11 The early edges could take a beating it's the newer models, not all edge riders enjoy the kite for racing, a free ride version with a bit of xtra reinforcing would be the go,

My old 2010 7 strut 13m edge is still going! damn thing refuses to die!!... Its got a slow leak in the le bladder which I can't be arsed fixing as it takes 3-4 hours do go down and most of my sessions are less than that. I don't enjoy pumping that little oldschool valve though!.....
its still a nice kite and gives me big grins 15-20 knots.
