What is everyone's thoughts on the 2012 Rrd religion?
Starting the move from twinny to surfboard and was looking for a 7m kite that is good in the surf but also on the twinny in high winds.

The 2012 Religion is very fast in all sizes. The turning axis is through the wing tips, rather than the centre of the kite like the 2011 version. This gives the kite more power generation with the turns compared to the previous year without the rider being yanked down the line during a bottom turn.
You will find the kite has good drift and stability when riding down the line toward it.
The Religion is incredibly strong and reinforced - I have been dragged numerous times after wipeouts and so far, no breakages. The only downside is this probably makes the Religion a tad heavier than some other kites
The 2012 Religion is purely a wave kite. If you want a jumping machine/free ride kite you would be better off with the Obsession or Vision.
