I've been using 8 Reo last 6 months in Brazil with Underground Kipuna. It's the only kite I used, so the 12 Reo was never opened. I'm gonna trade the 12 in for a 10, as that is the biggest size I'll need. Just curious how the 10 Catalyst will pair up with the 8 Reo. I'll be using the 10 with a twin tip quite a bit for different locations, otherwise I would just go 10 Reo. I've read up on what the Catalyst can do, just need to know if the 10 Cat is a good choice to pair up with 8 Reo. Also, what kind of low end can I expect w/surfboard, 87 kgs. Thanks Bill
should be fine with the 2 saba. Cats are very similar in power but the bottem end may feel a bit better as they don't shoot to the edge of the window as easy. If your going to be using a twintip as well then the cat is the go. You should be up and going in 15 knots I reckon.
hi saba ive just got an 8 catalyst for the frontals we get over the winter and took it out in some strong conditions during cyclone iggy in which the kite behaved superbly ,i took out the reo 8 which ive got on trial and if i was to choose between the two id take the reo, but smaller kites in stronger conditions behave diferent, i can take out my edges 9 and 11 and the feel is quite similar but if you drop down to the 7 then thats a different feel which i reckon is across all brands
well i have c4 and reo combo and thats sweeeeet. so i would have said go for the c4 for my dynamic twin tipping.... but i guess its moot now.
