Disclosure: Phil at Woodies Kite Surf and Sup and Scarborough Kite Surf and SUP has offered me a part shop rider sponsorship.I have kitesurfed since 2003, have been an instructor since 2006 IKO accredited, surfed since the age of 11, windsurfed for 6 years in the 1990's, and have been sailing since the age of 11 in Manly juniors, Lasers etc.

My Comments:
I am not here to pimp this kite or the Kahoona which is a better beginner intermediate kite due to its ease of relaunch in any winds, its grunt and its stability through having no centre strut. I have already written about the 7m TS
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/Review/Best-7m-TS/

Through Phil Morrow, I am happy to demo my 3 kites to anyone with an interest in the Best range. I have a 9.5m V3 kahoona, a TS 8m and a 5m Waroo which is a lot less refined than the new bullaroos. As Ive stated the Best TS is the perfect wave kite, but also a freestyle/ wakestyle monster. I would happily teach on it. The difference is the canopy shape changes from the 4,5.5m, the 7,8,9, 10, 12,14, and the 15,17m. Best is using Neil Pryde as the R & D, a great pedigree.

In todays economic climate where its not getting any easier or cheaper, try before you buy. Most Best kites run off 20m lines, (except the GP C-kite) and you can buy canopy only.(a $500 saving on a new addition to your quiver).

As the gibbo said, "after 5mins I didnt even need to look at the kite", he is an "intermediate". An expert is defined as someone who has dedicated themselves to a sport for 10 years and had other life skills that help them get there faster, not my quote.

Try before you buy..... If you live south of the river, Im usually at Woodies, but will lend the kites out with your licence details and a contact phone number when I dont have my daughter. 0466 494 853 or PM me. You dont have to spend a fortune on the whole kit, canopy only if you wish.

Please flame away on my pimping, Im new to this

Pimp away Dave, just had a few sessions on the 7m TS, yes I am associated with Best! But if you can find me a better wave kite I am buying it! Plenty of bull out there but the proof is in the riding!

awesome kite good for beginner\advanced.
grunty, fast and agile the ts is a kite for those who want to unhook in the waves or just land a simple handle pass. with the incredible light bar preasure it makes this kite easy to unhook but not too light so you dont know where your kite is. all up it is a good freestyle/freeride kite and i would happily go and but it.
