I owe you guys an apology. Nothing wrong with nthe quick release. He finally brought it around after three days and well nothing wrong with it. The quick release was luckily an accidentally activated and saved his kite like it jaws designed to do. He's a worry sometime. His depower rope does need replacing and his front line lark heads have all worn through so only a meter of time. So pump n jump do you have a mobile number only got ya store number mate. Will pm ya and again I am so sorry was just writing on his observations I should have waited and I feel like a complete goose.

Actually he's in the market for a new kite ( he keeps trying to fix up his old 09 warroo) he bought from you ages ago and he has smashed this kite so many times. Where ya doing your demos? Great weekend for it!

Thats ok mate. Does he have extensions on his lines? if so all he needs to do is replace the 3mtr extensions to fix the attachment loop wear problem.

In a nut shell we are here to service customers and dealers to the best of our ability to make sure that you are supported regardless of the problem.

No he doesn't have the three meter extensions on. I might cut them tie a knot then rig up a double loop and lark head one on the kite end and one on the line end. Only thing I can think of. You have any ideas??

I would consider a new set of lines. Check with your local shop or even ask Nigel's advice at the demo.

Prob right but the lines are actually quite sound. Just the lark heads are stuffed. But yes it seems the only real solution. I still think my idea work for now. Cheers.

Eppo, Hold the line will reset them all, for about $20-30, fully resleave the whole bar, its not a cut line, and he will do it while you wait. Otherwise have a beer at the wembley Hotel

Hey Chrisso, Ive replaced a lot of these, as Best used to be a newbie kite brand, if it keeps happening to your bro, go to a sewing shop and get a little steel rod with the hook on it, you feed it as best you can then grab the end and it works, you tend to pull one piece of the brraided line and it stretches a bit, but you wont snap it. after its all good, re-trnsion the loop with the sewing thingy,. 5 mins tops.. get your brother to depower his 11.5 for Perth conditions, a line under tension and friction will rear regardless of the brand of bar and lines.

Dave do you have a picture of the steel rod thingy by chance you can post. Rod and hook dimensions? Im all out of ideas on this one. The depower strap has lasted a fair while as he is more of a out and back guy. Used to wear fast on mine as I always rode powered up and looped traditions etc. Appreciated this new to get this line in by Friday. Normally I used 20 pound fishing line needle and threaded through and back again twice. Bit of detergent and would eventually pull through. This time it only worked on one side. He also has his dog put down today parvo virus so this was another good part of his day!!

Finally got one of these. They have done an awesome job on this one. While waiting, I tried out the Ben Wilson bar. While also a good bar IMHO it cannot reach the design standard of the 2012 Redline...

One thing that cant be denied about the new Best bar and that is that the re-build. It is simply the Best there is.
Totally one handed operation. Reset the escape fitting and leave it securely in tact till ur ready to lock it in. Brilliant.

That it is eppo.
But it really has to be seen to be believed. Its just one of many critical design qualities all bars have but this is one rebuild system worth noting.
Always stand to be corrected - dont even know everything else that is out there? There could well be another system that works a two stage, one hand QR rebuild?
More the merrier really. It is a great way to go.

Cool i will have to have a squiz. I use the north bar obviously and brilliant quality and design but I reckon you'd have to be Houdini to rebuild with one hand - hard enough with two.

Hey Eppo, your screwed when you need to change the depower line on your North Bar, it is similar to the Redline bar that you had all the issues with. Apart from that the North bars are nice.

I think the new Best Redline with the delrin centre insert is now enough to beat any other bar regarding simplicity, usability and long lasting.
