My Comments:
Custom FR128 (Freeride) with extra soft flex
What I loved about the Cardboards is that I could choose the graphics for my board from a massive range of templates or create my own individual board. I got to choose my own board size and finn size and also the flex that I wanted from soft flex, standard flex and stiff flex.
The Freeride is an awesome board that really surprised me. From the moment I first jumped on the board it instantly felt like part of me. It cranked up wind and pops out of the water freely.
The Quad concave glides through the chop and provides a smooth ride with absolutely no spray in your face (this is a pet hate of mine) It has made riding at Scarborough beach in the mega chop fun again. :)
It does huge jumps and is extremely forgiving with hard landings. Previous to this board I was having some big issues with my knees and hard landings but my knee issues have all but dissapeared since I got my cardboard. It lands all kinds of jumps softly and easily without any of the jolting of the knees.
The footpads are super soft and spongy but unfortunately for me I have teeny tiny kids sized feet and the foot straps were too big. Darren from AKS helped out heaps and found a pair of special tiny straps to help me out. This has been an issue for me with all kite boards.
All in all I just love my new board and would highly recommend it for any freerider / girls freestyler out there.
Cheers
