My Comments:
The new 2011 Airush Varial is a huge improvement from the 2010. The first thing i noticed when taking it out of the bag is its improved looks (not that it affects flying) It flys slightly faster and has much smoother power throught the turns. Last year i was also slightly disapointed in the low end and jumping abilities. this year they have improved the low end hugely and jumping this kite is like a dream. it takes nearly no skill to get huge lift and nice soft landings. It relaunches easily. Unhooked performance is also pretty good. its easy to keep under controll by edging while unhooked unlike most of the new SLE/bow type kites i've been trying.
I just wanted to put this small review on here so this kite wont get overlooked this year, its always going to be a fun session on this kite. definately give it a try.
