My Comments:
Cool ! Just received the new Takoon Furia LTD. The kites came by Air freight from the factory where all the other kites are been sent by sea to the rest of the world, so once again we in Australia are seeing & riding these production kites two months before any other country.
Now I'm not going to rev these kites up yet because the wind was too light to get out on the water, but, the bar looks good this year, there's a new chicken loop assembly, with a well finished bar, plastic coated chicken rope & a safety, same as the IDS but you can swivel the safety below the bar to get any twists out after consecutive back rolls or kite loops. For 2010 Takoon are calling it the Diamond Bar.
There is also a below the bar de-power system, these are the Max Bar if you prefer not to reach up to pull on the de-power.
The kite only comes in two colours & a new one pump system.
From a brief flight, the kite has a lot more bottom end, still very fast & light on the bar. It's well reinforced around the struts to LE, the scuff pad on the LE are made of a moulded rubber as well as the strut ends. As usual the pullys, pigtails, & leader lines are of heavy duty quality.
Can't wait for the weekend to test these babies in the surf. Love the price, $1799 = 7M, $1899 = 9M, $1999 = 11M. Very good value for money, I think. If they are as good in the surf as the Furia 2. It definatly would be a kite to look at for 2010.
(In my bias opinion, out of all the 09 kites I've flown last year, not one was as good in the surf as the Furia 2, turning speed, instant de-power, & light bar pressure.)

Awesome looking kite love the army edition, any improvement on the 09, would make it an even more kick arse kite in the surf, with good boost, and unequal turning speed. sick bru .going the army !!!
If its as good as the Furia 2 its a hot kite ,fast, great bar pressure , excellent
in the surf,cant say enough about these kites
