Any ideas

I am 78 kg and would like to know the wind range using a 6'2 surfboard and windier days a twin tip - some say the manufacturer wind charts can be misleading or wrong ?

Thanks

Hi Foorked

so if you get going in 18kn on the twin-tip, I should get going on the surfboard in 16kn ? was thinking a 10m rpm but for the sake of a couple of extra knots doesnt seem logical. A 2011 9m rpm should be ideal.

I have an 2009 8M RPM and from what i've heard the 2010 RPMs have not changed much at all in the smaller sizes. (apart from the bar of course)

Im 75 Kgs on a 132 tt and get going in around 18kns (and hold ground) i also ride a 5'8" surf board and i doubt you could get going in 16kn.

The sweet spot for me on the 8m is 23-25, such a great kite.

At 65kg I could use a 8m RPM with a 6'2" in 16 knots if it was steady and the wind was cross to cross-off. If the wind was cross-on I would use a 10m.

i reckon 8m is the best size rpm.. my lowend on my 8 would ne 18knots holding ground, your really need 22-25 to be properly powered
