looking to pick up a cheap 2010 kite. Was thinking of buying the 7m kite only and running it off my 48cm bar from my 10m. Kite usually comes standard with the 42cm bar. Question is, will have any problems? Kite too fast with longer bar? Any input appreciated as i can save a good $400 without the 42cm bar. thanks in advance!

The 48cm bar (I presume is a IDS bar) will work fine on the 7m SB. I use the 48cm bar on the 6m SB and it flies great. If you like to loop the kite the 48cm bar is a really good choice.
I run all my kites on the same 52 cm bar 7,8 10.5 13 no dramas love the small kite with the big bar turns nice and quick,usually always holding the centre of the bar anyway,i rarely grab the outside so is easier to pivot the kite from the centre of the bar.
