My Comments: I love pumping up small kites, the effort with 1 pump is quiet minimal . Up in the air the kite felt very responsive and great bar feel on the standard settings.
Out on the water i surprised the amount of pull the kite had, and the pull through turns was sweet and very predictable . Unhooked though i found the kite to over sheet at times , by pulling the depower out about 4-6inches elemenated this problem .
Over all i found this kite gave me confidence to push my self in this area.
I think 10-6m would be a great quiver with a surfboard.
I have tryed this kite a couple of times thinking it would be a good freestyle/wakestyle kite but found it lacking some grunt in areas but probaly would be ok in the bigger sizes but i did think it would be a great surf kite it did handle well and was verry easy to unhook on turned fast, i liked the feeling of the bar but didnt like the crosover bridle was verry hard to tell if it was tangled or not? but im sure after getting used to it it would be fine.
I think i will give it another go in some waves on my surf board

I decided to go with the RPM for the unhooking side of my kitesurfing, and the kite performs very well in this area, as for grunt the last two days have been quiet windy on the Sunny Coast and the 6m RPM excelled, I had a fat time.
Sounds good, I think your definatly on to a good thing if unhooked surf ridding is your style a lot of kites really need to be depowered a lot for this but just in general ridding i found the RPM to be fairly smooth and didnt try to yank you off the board when unhooked, when i ride my Bandit 3 unhooked on a surf board it becomes verry grunty in small gusts and drags me down wind a bit in big gusts i would have to hook back in. But i think normally im ridding to big a kite when on the surf board but it is a blast.
What board, size are you using?
