My Comments:
Have new charger 12m and have not heard much from other riders so here are my random thoughts from two flights. First = light wind (maybe 12knt?)trial with twintip in flatwater rivermouth with tide beginning to run wrong way. Planed to stay on beach to trim my bar to new kite - coming from guerillas and venom, I am not used to light bar pressure, so found it difficult to trim with little bar feedback. Found the spot eventually and very impressed with power and turning speed, so decided to try in water. Despite light wind and wrong current, the amount of power from the 12m was impressive. Tried a small boost, launch and float ok, but sent kite too far forward for landing and found myself looking down to kite below and bracing for hard landing. All good, but will wait for more wind before trying to get jumping timing right.
Second flight = 15knt downwinder in small windswell. Only my second attempt at strapless, and very happy alround with kite. Very even power delivery through turns. Kite seems to turn very fast when I wanted it to, but remaind stable and predictable when I was trying to get going again. (will it be so forgiving in stronger wind?) A few mistimed tacks to toeside resulted in slack lines but kite seemed to drift back niclely.
looking forward to some real wind, but exceeded expectations so far. Keen to hear others opinions
thanks for reporting about production chargers as I guess few have been so far delivered and winter is still way to end up here in the north em.
We tested the pre production 10 12 15 in July and everybody was very impressed about all over improvements (if compared to previus ARCS) and got so similar to latest tubes while feeling and setting the peter lynn style..
Same problems (as yours) getting used to fastness and bar comfort for foil riders, not the same for advanced free-style tube riders (feeling a bit shocked).
Hope you will add some more comments after some extra ride (new bar - relaunch - reset - top end )
ciao
