Some info on the new Fuse in this video-
Hi guys ive been riding the 10 MTR fuse now for few weeks both on flat water and in surf ,Ive also done a few lessons with it, all over its pretty user friendly much like an 09 rebel with lighter bar pressure and only 4 lines. But saying that ive had rebel riders riding it, some like it, but others deffinately don't so i cant say its just like a rebel. For myself have found it great to ride, good upwind, nice easy jumps, stable even in turbulant wind, great relaunch, light bar pressure fast turning and good through loops but does take committed bar imput. My advice is try before you buy we have a demo 10, and im sure most north stores do.
Hope this helps have fun

Just looking at the pic quickly it reminds me of the SB but im sure norths kite will be a lot better built. I have seen some old rebels that are still in use today with no real issues. So without trying it cant comment but it looks like it would be a good wakestyle/surf kite? 4 lines way to go, for a lot of people that have just learnt 4 line is all they know so it makes sence to give them what they know and want.
Looks good i think we will see a lot around, as long as they fly as good as they look![]()
My experience is, "brilliant freeride", easy big jumps, extra long hang time and smooth power. Surf characteristics are better than allot of kites, especially turning on slack lines, but I would choose the Rebel if I wanted surf only. If you want both surf and freeride in one kite, because you can't afford the perfect kite for each circumstance (who can?), go the Fuse. Especially if you are used to 4 line kites such as Revs, Sonics, Switchblades etc. It does have the five line attachment if preferred, but I have never used it.
Hope this helps.
m8, can you explain your view in more details. Why do you want to use the Rebel over the Fuse in the surf if they behave similar? Its 4 lines over 5 lines? Is it for the safety or?
I own Rebels 09 and want to upgrade to 5 and 7 in 2010 sizes for either Rebel or Fuse. I mainly them for surf which is also my main criteria of function.
