Has anyone any news about the availability of a North Fuse in Australia?
How come that the US has already some Demokites? [}:)]
I am desperate for a new kite but haven't ridden one yet that I thought this is what I need to get. Still flying a 2007 North Rebel 12m.
Cheers and Thanks

Hi there
I requested the arrival of the Fuse at North and was positively surprised how quick they answered. Here it is:

North have two designers for the 4 kites, Rebel / Vegas / Evo and Fuse.

They each work on one kite for 6 months and then the other one.

They have more prototypes than any other brand and that is why they have the best kites.

Some brands work on many models simultaneously to bring them out all together which limits the design process.

The Rebel and Vegas samples are usually ready in June / July and so the stock arrives here in August/September.

The Rhino and Evo samples have been ready in Dec/Jan in past years and so the stock arrives here in Feb/March.

Thus Rhino and Evo has arrived just as our season ends which is risky and so we have had only small sales.

We have not rushed promoting this , due to higher demand than expected for all models the North factory is running 5 weeks late
and we did not have a definite answer as to when we would get Fuse.

Promoting it in November when it may not turn up until February can be confusing.

We will have available a Fuse sample after Mambo which is earlier than expected and the Fuse will be here at the very start of January.

Evo is earlier than expected and is here now.

The States don’t have this seasonal problem as their season goes all the way to October 2010.

In fact promoting it before it snows in some areas is the way to go for them.

Looking forward to the demo kite after Mambo which takes place this weekend

ok i took it out yesterday and was really happy with it .first noticed that it is not the same shape as the rebel
trailing edge is diff.kite sits a little deeper in the window so big air should be a breeze .turns just a liitle slower than this years rebel but its not slow ,quick release works nice to and now theres no worring about the fifth line wrapping around the kite .....overall will be one in my kite quiver this season..relaunch is as per north no problems herei can verify it is a nice looking kite it gives me a wet dream its so nice looking ....keep up the good work north ,,,happy rhinoman happy,,,
