133/136/139 Kaos
134/142 Influence
134/142 Influence Grind
We have some Influence, Influence grind and Kaos boards in now, they look killer, the Influence + Sphynx combo looks to good to ride. The new Kaos looks amazing as well.
Come have a demo![]()
oi a few people up this way wana try envy n havocs.. gona have to come tax them off u some time or if u arent lazy come up to ride chop heaven
The Influence and Kaos are amazing - so far every new board we opened was bought by the first test rider.
good kite, picked it up today and was totaly dialed in to the kite, i have been trying difrent kites all month, ozones, norths, best, ocean rodio, but i think the envi is for me, if you are at a good standard and looking for a new kite, have a go on this,
downpoints about it, I DON'T HAVE ONE, but then some one ellse might, its called personal prefrence, i like it as all round package
up points, fast, really fast when you get going, its good in light winds, high winds, its just good in wind.
loops really good as well,
Maybe points, the bar is simple and just works, its got no swivel in the lines, but then does the swivel ever work,
I like that point
The 2010 Recoils are like the 2009 Recoil Comps, and only retails for $749 inc GST. They come in 134 & 137.
Early next week we should have Concepts & Auras arriving. The Influence is my favourite funride board so far, with the Lowrider as my insane low wind board.
Are 2010 Recoils exactly the same as 2009 Recoil Comp? (apart from graphics)
I've looked at them pretty closely and it seems as though they are exactly the same..
been ridden yet? Compare it to the influence, i love my influence but i would prefer something a bit more agressive and stiffer
haha hurry up ya dbag its been marginal down here but good on 12s for kickers and decent swell last two days
I have just retired my 09 Hovoc after riding several other kites. Maby some of you die hard Liquid Force guys should try out a few different kites like a Core GT or a Cabrina Swichblade or many other kites worth riding. I was amazed at what i had been missing out on after a couple of demo days with different shops. I was also blown away with the 60 day warrantee given on liquid force kites when most brands give 12 months. You would think a company with such pretty kites would back there product better than that.
hmmm seems strange. I don't have LF kites at the moment but have been extremely impressed with LF warranty on boards over the years. Could not rate them any higher actually. LF have gone over and above my hopes and expectations in regards to warranty. No connection, just thought i'd let ya know in case you can chase up your claim again. Did you take it back to where you got it from? Good luck man.
Too late its gone. Your right there boards have a 12 month cover but not the kites. They are only covered by a 60 day. I spoke to a guy at queens beach the other day who had a problem with a Best, when he took it back for repair to a section of stiching they just replaced the kite with a new one. It was 3 months old. Thats pretty good service if you ask me considering i was told i could have a quote to fix mine.
switchblades are single handedly one of the worst kites ever for anything more than mowing lawns and chucking a 2ft air... core gts are ok if ur at a beginner - maybe intermediate level...
could of chosen better kites to use as examples - ozone, north, slingshot, rrd etc
You have your opinion i guess and thats fine but you must have different conditions over there or something to bag out swichblades to that extent and as for the GT, i wonder if you have ever ridden one to say that. I guess you think Havocs are an awsome kite as well. I cant speek for the rest of the country but Kite Power in Briz have a 12 month warrantee on pretty much all there kite range.
Thanks all for coming to our Brisbane Liquid Force demo day yesterday. It was well attended with true blue Aussie spirit. Every single of the 150 sausages and chicken burgers were consumed, all eskies of soft and hard drinks totally emptied! Pics from the day will be loaded at site shortly.
Other than our local crew, we had kiters from as far as north as Bundaberg, and a number from the goldie also attended our clinic. Many were very impressed and were instantly converted to the Envy - our 'WOW' kite of 2010.
Congrats Luke N in winning the top range $2000 Envy kite, Ben B for winning the $200 luggage suitcase and Pete R on the $200 trainer kite. Thanks LF, Masterline and the Brisbane City Council for supporting the event.
well i ride in a place where its generally windy... the place i also work for sells core kites so i have tried them...
i think the havoc is ok for beginners - intermediates but i never really frothed on them.
my favourite is the hifi comp simply because it works for my style of riding and also works in the surf when i can be bothered.
switchblade doesnt have a good direct feel to it, the turning feels a little spongey and its way to grunty for decent conditions and u always have to be on a tiny kite.
cores i rate as a great beginners - int stage kite and works pretty well but have seen them do some crazy weird things like randomly losing all backline tension when they crash and inverting etc. cant say i've never seen a LF or cab or slingy do that either though.
i just think the envy is a great all rounder though, works good for beginners - advanced for boosting, wakestyle, sliders, and from what i hear its good in waves too, i seen one fly around a fair bit at woodies and it drifts back real well
