My Comments:
The last week I have been lucky as I kited the Griffin 14m in 9 to 12 knots, the 10.5 in 20 to 25 knots and the 7 in 35 to 40 knots.
I am 75 to 80 kg on a bad day. All I can say is any level of rider will not be dissapointed. I have had most brands over the years and even tried some of the 2010 proto types of others - the Griffin will give you at least the same for considerably less $ and I think the longest warranty + is Australian designed.
What board were you using to get the 14m going from 9-12 knots?
The white 2010's certainly look the goods - very keen to see when they'll arrive in Melbourne.
I was riding a Cardboard 133 Free Ride.
I have had 2009 Griffins as well which are good kites however the 2010s are a big step up being considerably faster with a bit more top and bottom end plus improved quality in material and manufacture.
Also excellent wave kites making down the line easy.
Boosting jumps and easy control for landing has also improved as I experienced on the 10.5 and 7
