Anyone got any reviews for this board - whats the difference between the 6'1 and 6'3
and how different is it the the S-Quad?
i have the 6'1''. i used it at both Sumbawa and gnaraloo this year strapless
haven't tried the 6'3''
I reckon the 6'1'' is head and shoulders over the s Quads. I have tried the 2008 and 2009 sQuad both strapped and unstrapped and didn't really like them and went for surfboards instead.
The 6'1'' however is a lot closer to a surfboard and I think HEAPS better than S Quad.
The 6'1'' feels like a 'big' board even though it is not very wide.......if you know what I mean (some 6'1 boards feel like 5'8'), so I dont think i would go for a 6'3' even though I am over 6' tall and 85kg.
The board I think is perfect for high wind strapless conditions and works better in med to larger waves
I think this is because it is a little heavier than a tradional surfboard, so it tracks well in choppy and windy conditions and can handle the speed better.
I am pretty happy with it and it combines well with a old light expoxy surfboard I use for small waves /beach breaks and light wind.
i put some good fins it as well as i didn't like the standard factory offering.Takes Futures as well which is a good thing.
