Hey guys I wanted to share the news the new a REV 2 is amazing....
So so smooth I didn't think they could improve on the REV 1 but they have.
If you want a kite that has the performance of a Porsche and the ease of KY jelly, Get one..........
I (88kg) rode the 11m in 15 to 18 knots I found the steering so easy and predictable and the kite seemed as stable as a 747 (not QANTAS...sorry Pete).
The 11 this year seemed to have a little more range at both ends.
At first thought it was a bigger kite than last year, but thanks to Simo riding the REV 1 we matched them up and are the same size with a few little tweaks, the bridle position etc; what ever it's GOLD............
I rode hooked and unhooked, and my advise is if you do ride waves or want to ride both hooked or unhooked this kite makes life EEEEEEEEEasy........................
I Can't wait to get one of my own I think late Sept...don't quote me....
I rode the Demo at KITEPOWER that is available by appointment along with others.

Some cool new tweaks to the bar with a sic safety also..............
Did they make the depower cleat a little esyer to use ??? The Rev 08 got realy tight stuck in there , even with beez wax on da line ?????![]()
The trim line was silky smooth, they might have used a slightly different line maybe...you should go and have a ride...wont be disappointed I'm sure...
Ridden in 15 to 18 knot & you think it's got more top end.
How did you decide that. Come on, don't get carried away with the excitement of new gear.

If you were serious Col.........
When you grab the chicken loop to hook back in when flicking off the wave you can notice the stability and increased depower.....and as it was only light when I started I was surprised to reach straight out to the reef/bommy....
Thanks for asking though....
Something Simo said to me resonates with your comment, and that is;
"it is amazing how each year the kites do keep improving""...
Simo is a local ripper from the Gong..................
