Being with Ozone since 2006, I’ve never used large kites.
Now I am preparing for light winds, and…
NEED INPUT from those with HIGHER MILEAGE!
- Ozone Sport 15m 2007, brand new
- Ozone Light 14m 2009, low hours but with 2008 bar (humm, does it work?!).
WHICH one SHOULD I BUY/KEEP for 1 year?!
… Technical aspects would the only relevant.

If you take the 5th line off the 08 bar it will work... Not too much has changed on the bar from 08 to 09 apart from a short line thru the bar to activate your safety.
The 2007 bar wasn't the best... The release was a pin design which was hard to release and fidly to re-engage... The 07 sport was a nice kite - but nothing special and quite heavy.
Just remember, you can buy a brand new 07 now and it might be worth a fair bit (because it's new) but in a years time when you sell it, it will be a used 07 kite and will be worth nothing at all.
A slightly used 09 kite will not lose much value over a year... and be FAR easier to sell on as it's safer, newer and much nicer to fly...
