My Comments: Firstly, you notice these kites are extremely sexy and well put together. North really have their graphics department working hard each year, making better and better looking kites.
In the air, this kite feels sweet. I'm 75 kg's, and this got me going in 12 knots, and I also used it on that Thursday 2 weeks ago, where the massive fronts came in and the Wednesday and Thursday was honking in at 25-30 knots.
It boosts really well, and its lightning fast for a bow kite. Beautiful for a small kite for an average sized bloke or an all-rounder for an average sized female. Bar pressure is about medium, feels really nice, kiteloops great, and very nice for unhooked also.
Awesome kite!!!!!!
It wasnt fun in 25 to 30 knots, trust me. Dont forget I'm only 75 kg. And I was using it yesterday down in Safety Bay in 12-15 knots. And yes, I was struggling to stay upwind...![]()
I would say most likely 22-27 knots. When I was out that Thursday, Before the front went massive and blew in at 25-30 knots, it was about 22-25 knots and it was beautiful. Boosting massive and landing clean and not feeling like I couldnt handle it.
I would have thought its sweet spot would be over 30knots or has the 09 rebel more power than the 08? would you rate it better than the bandit? both are delta c-shape by the looks.
