F-one Revolt 09 anyone used one whose the WA dealer Haven't found much info on them & is the Revolt Bar the same As Dos 2 bar as in the depower straps.
the dos doesnt have straps it has the standard cleat/roap setup. last year we got M8 to change a couple over to a pull pull strap at no extra cost. would asume that the bar would be identicle to the dos as they havent changed since last year well only the colour.
The Revolt uses a pull-pull strap instead of a cleat.
Also the bar itself is a little different. Not as flashy as the DOS bar but works well.
Have flown the 11mtr. Relaunch is great, speed a little slower than the dos. Build quality very good. Non return stopper has been added to the leading edge inlet valve, very handy. Overall a nice kite, a slightly simplified version of the dos all over really. In some ways very similar to last years Bandit but with a smaller price tag. Also have a 7mtr which a mate has used, but have not had enough wind to try myself.
Yep thanks for the info on the revolt. I like the pullpull depower system same as Best system I am often flying in crap gusting wind 12knots to 22 knots (16 to 29 knots all wilst on the same tack) some days. Yes a move to a better location is in progress but mean time this time of the year is kite or twiddle thumbs. So far waroos have always been able to handle these winds. Just wonder how Dos2 & Revolts would go! you need to change your flying to suit these big variation conditions. Or do you think Nemi are Best suited for this type of wind. Trust Me the odd day of 18 to 22 knots steady wind are rare as hens teeth and you value them.
Of the best kites i would have used a WAROO not the NEMI , but in deltas the dos 10 has the range but in 16/30 9 would be better at the top . Havnt had the revolt 11 in much more than 23 so far.Remember with deltas you alwats feel like your near the end of the depower but usually you can get abit more. And the dos handles crap wind realy well as long as you dont depower it too much.
Have fun

Got to check one out on the weekend it was a 5m. The build quality of the kite is verry impressive and is a mile ahead of the bandit dos. The skuf guards are actualy neatly sewn in to the strut so no more bridle snags, ripping them off. The inflation valves are a lot better nice tight fit with no leaks, the dos ones were crap. The stopper ball on the leading edge is great graphics look cool they have tougther material on the wing tips, i think the latter dos had this to but not the first ones. verry simple bridle like the old bandit all up i would give the kite 9/10. would be perfect with one pump.
The bar and lines is verry simple with the pull pull derower strap, no swivels. the side lines are adjustable but with knots. The chicken loop is a lot smaller and still runs the piece of sh... plastic bit which breaks a lot. No centre line swivel is a bit of a worry, i had the swivel on my dos seize up and after a thew twists the safety no longer flags out even if the kite is looping like a SOB. The leash is probably to short for most people to unhook but for surf etc where your not doing railys etc would be ok. all up i give the bar 5/10 but the dos bar would only get a 6/10.
There wasnt much wind around 8-10 kts we chucked the kite up anyway to see how it flew. The 5m was fast, fast turning and fast across the window. even in light wind i had the kite draging me up the beach swinging it thrugh the powerzone. felt really grunty for a small kite. cant weight for 20+ in the surf to give it a real try.
All up looks like a good things to come with f one getting better with each year/model. cant wait for the bandit 3. Just hope the bar/ safety work better.![]()
