if your boards fairly stiff then no it wont affect it too much, depending on how big ur board is it would be a good board to be introduced into bindings, maybe later on upgrade to a Tempo or a LF board if you digg boots.
the boards needs a dead flat deck otherwise you might have to chock the bindings at the heel and toe. if they don't sit flat you can trash the board/inserts/binding base from excessive movement.
also it will be harder to edge the board if your heel is sitting up off the deck
