Good weight and wind info but what board are you riding? Your style/what you want to do, freeride/freestyle/surf etc will help nail it too..

11m if you are using a smaller kite as well.
10m if it's your only kite.

im currently riding a 132 lunacy. i have a 16m cheap brand light wind kite. but i hate have to sign the kite alll the time i like a bit of park and ride. was thinking a 11m 8m combo. i ride surf and flat water, some unhooked but mostly freestyle

Have you looked at the Vegas ? May be better suited to what you want from you're kite

If the wind's not really going much more than 25 then I think your idea of 11/8 will suit you well, especially having your 16 for the really light days.

I'd have suggested 10/7 if you got stronger winds.. or were thinking of going out in winter frontal winds too.. the winds you stated though, lean more to the 11/8

Let us know what you decide.

Mate if you want to ride unhooked and freestyle the Rebel will be a disappointment to you, Have a look at a proper C kite they are excellent at freestyle and in the waves.

Nah i like the rebel over the Vegas. I will be going out in winter and southerly frontal winds as well. I have a 12 10 ss rally combo now and that's done me good for the last year. Just trying to find the right sizes to match my rally combo. Could you have power on the 10 rebel in say 15 to 20 knot range and what would be the bottom end on the 7? Plus I like boosting big so maybe the 10 would take me higher

Not really into unhooking more freestyle. And I like a bigger wind range. Plus I like kites to turn fast with medium bar pressure

think you mean freeride. freestyle is unhooking

Freeride = rebel you will love it i am 90kg and the 10 gets me going in 14 only just but 16 and it's fun you are 15 kgs lighter if you can demo the 10 and 11 but I think you will enjoy the 10 more

righto im thinking the 10 7 combo is the go. (i think the 10 will be closet to my 12 rally) and i would guess that cant be to much difference between the 10 and the 11.
