Rider: 64kg beginner (1st buy)
Hey looking for more of a discussion about the two kites above. As far as I can tell they are pretty similar but I have only been looking at kiting stuff for 4 months. I would be interested to hear what people would say about each kite.
I am looking to purchase either one as I can get the Havoc in demo or Switch new for around the same price.
I have had a couple of lessons but thats it.
Cheers

Hi Hoff

The SB3 and LF Havoc are both very good kites. The bar pressure on the Havoc is much lighter than the SB3 and I have found the Havoc a little easier to unhook with also. For your size I would look at a 10M.

I agree, furthermore is the havoc more versitile, than the switchblade...
but the relaunch of the switchblade is better.... I'ld pick the Havoc 10-12m...
Both are powerfull slow moving kites.... Havoc is more versitile, Switchblade is more userfriendly...

Pretty good advice above, last years sb3 was a great learners kite but a little slow in the 12m... depends what level you are at and which direction you want to head in. Found the lf awesome for unhooking....

i had last years 10m switchbladde and was pretty fast for its size. it was my first kite and was perfect to learn on and then later in the season it was great to start learning more unhooked tricks. i have also heard good stuff about liquid frce tho so go with what you prefer and try to demo them.
