I did a couple of lessons last year, going to do another one in the next couple of weeks to brush up and then I'm going to be out on my own.

I'm looking for some people to hit the water with, I live at Dolls Point (that should read cold beer close by) and have my own gear. Let me know if your keen.

Hi,

Are you a current member of NSWKBA? We have a kite buddies list for members that you can look through to find people who are also keen to meet others. This is on top of all the other benefits of membership (3rd party insurance is one)

check it out

If you bring some of that beer down to the beach you'll make friends quickly. The Dolls crew are pretty friendly, you'll have no trouble making friends. Mid week after work in the summer nor-easters is when you'll most likely meet the regulars. Weekends we go elsewhere unless it's blowing 20 knots from the south. Should be a NSWKBA BBQ soon - good way to meet people.

To be honest I don't know. I'm happy to adjust it now we have a good member base with deatils to be seen. I'm happy to setup whatever our members desire. just let me know

One question with a NE wind what location is best to learn (body dragging/board) I heard the current at Dolls is rather sketchy. Would it be better up towards Brighton.

yes. that is true. Dolls is too busy for learning, and on an outgoing tide, you will lose your board.
