Hi,

We're a couple looking for kite buddies, we just spent 2 months kiteurfing in Philippines and Thailand.
We arrived in sydney 3 weeks ago and we have probably 4months left here!
We went in Botany bay a couple times but we'd like to find new spots depending on wind conditions.

We have no car but we're not afraid by public transports (takes a while but it worth it).
We're poor jobless so available at any time and any day!

Hope to hear from somebody

Wind in Sydney has been lousy last few weeks, so not much chance of going anywhere apart from Botany bay.... you either kite North (northern beaches ) or south ( Botany bay ) .
the south gets more consistant wind...

Sunday 22nd is looking good for Palm beach on the northern beaches...
you can get a bus from Manly - about 1 hour or so.
Beautiful beach, and im sure a few kiters will be up there if the forecast remains as it is.

good luck

Thanks,

We had a good session this week end in Botany Bay, unfortunately, i didn't land properly a jump and I have to wait a few weeks to kite again. Indeed, my ribs are painful even if I just try to get out my bed...

Cheers,
Aurélien

where do you guys check the forecasts?
I check on windfinder.com, and it hasn't shown good wind for weeks in Botany Bay, that's why I'm wondering! Where did you get the good forecast for 22nd?
And where do you get the forecasts for Palm Beach from?

Cheers

Windfinder hmmmm, the best wind meters for Sydney and Botany bay and predictions for Sydney area are right here, check out the seabreeze graphs.

I've now kited about 17 days this month, so either you are just not looking, won't/can't kite some of the lighter days (my minimum these days is around 12-13 knots), or you have been misled by windfinder.

Cya and

Goodwinds

Steve, can you gimme a hint and navigate me to the necessary graphs?
I only see the Graphs link on the left top, but I haven't found all the information for Palm Beach, Narabeen, Botany bay. It only gives you the information for each State?

Also there is no forecasts, only the one from the Government site?

Cheers,
Alex
