Does anyone know if you can kite by Windang island, near Shell-harbour on a Southerly? Thanks again.

I did Windang on Saturday in the southerly and it was horrible.
After every session there I always come out of the water saying "I'm never kiting here again..."
Well this time I'm going to stick to it, always to gusty.
Better options nearby.

The wind direction last Saturday was not a "southerly", so don't give up on the area. It was more SW and therefore quite gusty. Wait for another month and things may improve. Intermediate sounds like you don't want any waves, so this does limit your options. The Warilla boys can assist with their locations (flat water) as I am not going to publicise these on this site. The Culburra crew has options too. Finally, JB has spots. They are not hard to find.
