Hi,
Im a noobie comming down from Central coast to Sydney and staying at Dolls Point over New years. I can go in both directions (no I don't swing) however have not mastered upwind yet.. so still doing the walk of shame...

Am I better to Kite from Dolls Point or Brighton?
From the looks of it Brighton would give me more room. Is there a place to bail out if I drift too far south?

thanks

You'll be better off around Brighton. More so around Barton St. where the kite shop sets up most of the time. There's plenty of space and beach to move around on. I find dolls can be littered with little kids and angry parents who dislike kiters, so try brighton first, maybe drift down to dolls and see how they work there, they only use a very narrow section behind the groyne and you should be a mostly competent rider to ride there.

Most not-so-competents go to Brighton and find a nice quiet spot.
