Hey Desmond,

Sorry for the bad news, but you have about a 5% chance of seeing your board again if you didn't have your name and number on it. It doesn't matter how unique your board is without a number, it's history.

It will possibly come in somewhere up around Jurien or Cervantes and will probably be found by a cray fisherman who wont have a clue about it. He'll either hock it or turn it into some garden furniture or a coffee table in his fishing shack.

When will people start putting their names on boards???? How many people are yet to learn? I'm sorry for your loss and all but I don't know how many times I have written about this on this forum. If you have name, phone number and 'Reward" written on your board, you have about a 95% chance of it being returned.

Seriously, some of you guys have more money than sense. I reckon about three boards are lost every windy day in Perth, that's about $3000 a day, multiply that by the amount of windy days say 180 gives you more than 1/2 Million dollars worth of boards lost per year. Of these, about half are returned so that explains why we sell more boards than kites each year huh?

Please write your details on your next board, and good luck, I hope you get it back!

Can't believe this myself and being a Cardboard you can choose a personal ID tag to be placed on the board when you order. Mine has my name and number, too easy...
