Thumbs Up

Last Sat I had one of the worst Kitesurfing session of my life. I cut 2 lined in the morning and in the afternoon lost my board. The wind was really gusty and found myself at Brighton beach with a full power 12mts cab. Switchblade with became almost uncontrolable when the gust was almost 35knots at times. Yep, very stupid of me. However, sometimes (most of the times) thd need of being on the water is stronger than any rational thought. So by the time I stopped riding and I become to body drag myself while I was leaving my board behind, planning to return as soon ad my kite was safely on shore.

Unfortunately, by the time I managed to swim the last few mts while pulling my kite along (safety was pulled when getting close to shore) I look back and I could not see the board anymore.
I looked for it for about an hour and nothing happened.

That night when sadly started to search for a new board I had a look in the lost and found section of Seabreeze. It was unreal when I saw that someone already had written a note acknowlegeing having found a kite board at the next windsurfing beach down from Brighton. We got in touch and happily the board returned to the back sit of my car (where it lives when it's not in the water).

Finally, I want to thank tremendously Mickeys and Seabreeze for saving my board and providing such a great platform to those honest water fellows who wanting to help have found/rescued a piece of equipment from another water addicted rider.
Thanks
Cesar
