Well I never saw this coming....around 4 weeks ago at Woodman Point in WA after coming back to the beach after having a problem with my kite, I spent some time trying to fix it or at least find the the leak. After identifying the problem I thought I will just drop my kite into kite addiction to get fixed, it was getting late but there were still a few kites about. I grabbed everything apart from my board and headed to the car. About 3 minutes later I came back to find my board, which was up from the water line, gone. I looked around and asked a few people and everyone said it was just there - most people are honest in the kite world. Anyway, about 3 weeks later I received a text from someone saying they had found a Wainman Blunt but the name and number had been half rubbed off. Turns out whoever stole it (or bought it) lost it about at Melville beach on the Swan River - about 4O kms away from where it had been lifted! Happy I have got my board, but can't believe the chain of events. All in all I guess what goes around comes around and lots of people out there are good people but it just takes a few to leave a bad taste

Name and shame the crew.. I had to chase down a kite instructor who took mine when I accidentally left it behind, but had no intention of returning it. Too make it even worse the next day 2 of the 3 guy's were there kiting again so I politely asked 1guy who gave me some Bull**** that he didn't know anything about a board, so I asked the other kiter who I knew as a old kite buddy and by that stage I was fumming and asked who's got my faaarkn board to which he replied and told me so I chased down the guy who was easy to look up being a so called kite instructor... Not good advertising for him cause I make sure I make anyone who mentions his name aware of what he is... A thieving grub who needs to have a good har3 look at himself..Thanks Graeme.. Never trust anyone...
