Spent half the night awake thinking about what else was in there

1. Golf clubs (Armour)
2. New pair Maui Jim sunies
3. Work boots
4. Work Diray/planner
5. Kite tool/spares kit
6. CD's
7. Back wheel of 2 day old push bike that I had pumped on way to beach

My phone was my work, I'm a rep so all those numbers are gone

F***** C**** you guy's at woodies have to do something quick, be united have a mass meeting of all regular kiters form a plan. Get the fisho's involved report every incident to cops. Jesus Christ I'm getting mad, so those that kite there and have been victims must want to kill someone.

Sorry to hear of your loss Gerard, that really suxs mate.

do a bait car - leave a newish, stealable car there with the door unlocked, but the ignition leads taken off. have a whole bunch of guys in a van/nearby with nightsticks, just waiting for the asshole to try and steal the car.

report it to the freo cops......apparently they don't hear about the stuff that gets reported on the regular hotlines. they'd be stoked to leave their fresh coffee and donuts at the office. If that fails, neill's idea sounds pretty sick.
Tough break though man, hope it all turns out ok for ya. At least you nailed the move

Get yourself a battery switch in your next car, cost about $50 to install and dosn't matter how hard the f**kers try too start the car they got no chance unless they know where the switch is.

Overpowered,

Why carn't I leave what ever I want in my own car?

I live 30min's away I'm going to make sure I have the right kite for the conditions and how do you not drive around with your wallet? I was on way back from a corperate golf day I don't normaly have clubs in my car, infact it was the first time I have played since moving over here from the East a year and half ago.

I could give a crap about the car it's a company one!

Nothing was visable the phone and wallet where behind the back seat and kites where in the locked tray which you carn't see into?

I just hate having to change my life so I don't make someone else some pocket money!

Hmmm, ignore that crap Gerard. You tell me an employer that would give a toss about an employee these days.
If you work a considerable distance from home then why wouldn't you carry 2 kites.
If your lucky enough to play in a corporate golf day and can top it off with a kite after then where else are you gonna put the clubs.
The point is it shouldn't be accepted the more insurance claims the higher the premiums for all of us.

Yep it was locked.

I hide my keys under my car so think someone saw me put them there I used to take them onto the beach but I had them stolen off the beach a few years back. I've been meaning to get a surf lock.

I tell you, since this incident I really check out the people who come and go. Was out all alone today, plenty of fishos and some walkers.

Hiding keys on the car is dodgy. Even if you were not staked out, which I think you were (because I say the fellas parked and checking out "the scene"), then these scum learn that many hide their keys on the car.

Leave nothing you can not afford to lose in the car, sad but safest and either have your keys on you, or on the beach where you can spot anyone approaching your stuff.

Get an aquapac- it is a small waterproof bag that comes in different sizes.I put my key and phone in there and then in the pocket on my nitrous board shorts. Works a treat. People are doing the same thing in south oz, watching you then going through bags and stuff. Not so long ago one got taught a lesson from what I hear.
