Last Sunday while kiting the main break at Lancelin, the line on my chicken loop failed while on the outside. The decision was made to leave my board and focus on getting back in safely. With the help of my mate I made it back after about an hour. Just before reaching shore I was stung by a stingray. That sucked.
My lost board is a yellow 2003 Slingshot twin tip "surf" model. It's around 145 cm long and in pretty good shape.
