Well that little SW to SE change got me. Once I got my kite back up in the air, my board was no where to be seen.
I think it's now on it's way to Roto, but if it has been washed up. Be great to get it back. Phone no is on it. But just in case, Shaun 045 111 5712.

Next time i'm going to hug it so tight.

Oh yer, and what do people think. Will the board follow the swell (SW) or the wind (SE 15 Knots).
Going on a search in the morning!!

Kite/surf Boards are very buoyant and will be pushed in the direction of the wind.

Was it upside down or right way up? It will travel a much greater distance it it was right way up.

Hopefully a Boatie finds it out in the ocean this long weekend.

If not my guess would be that in a couple days the seabreeze will start to push it in and your board will turn up next week somewhere between Mindarie and Gero.

Lets hope some good person finds it, sees your number on the board and contacts you.

Yea Elroy.

Think you on the money with the wind. Board was up right so it could travel.
I'm kind of excepted the face that it's gone. Now I'm really interested in where it could travel to if it does turn up.
Keep you posted.

So I found my board.
Well 95% sure it's my board anyway. We can all recognized our loved, and sometimes miss treated surf boards over time.
I approached the guy carrying it up the beach, asked if he happened to have find it a couple of weeks ago. "Na mate, owned it for years".

Now I'm no detective, but the way he talked and the fact he told me he had kited from Port beach to Trigg (I saw you getting in at Swanbourne).
Makes me think your not totally on the level.

But what do you do? Stand on the beach and tell a man he's a lair. I live in the real world and I didn't have the serial number on me, so no proof.
You know, I been visiting this website/forum for a while now. And all that comes out of WA is people b%&$#ing at each other. Or windsurfers!!
I know the kiting community here is growing fast, and that in its self will cause problems. But we all need to stick together and help each other out.
We need to look out for other beach users, and if you need to tell your mate to pull his head in. Do it. Otherwise we will all loose out.
A bit of a rant I know, but I like to think that we can stick together and have a bigger voice.

There's definitely a few slabs in it for the return of my board.

Any how. See ya round Blue 9m Nash kite guy. Enjoy my little Cabrinha Skillet while you can, because it's going to pop out of a wave and smack you in the eye one day!

P.S If you like a girl, don't try and hit her in the head with your kite when she's deflating her kite on the beach at Trigg.
She won't like it, and it makes you look like a tosser.
