First time poster - I'm sorry that I only discovered this forum now!
Was kiting down Shoreham Sat 8th April in the surf. Kite stalled while surfing a wave, inverted, spun, crashed & was horrible tangled. Mate tried to tow me in while I was holding the safety ball; stupid move, ripped out of my hand & the cross-shore-ever-so-slightly-offshore breeze flipped the kite away. Sun was going down so no chance to track it.
It missed the Pt Leo headland & I'm hoping it hit Somers or Cerberus beach. I've rung the yacht club & naval base down there - they seem to think it probably ended up down Sandy Point.
It is a red Cabrinha 12m Crossbow with matching bar & lines.
