One week ago I left my bar and lines at Leighton Beach - around 7pm last Thursday Jan 10th, just near the pedestrian access path opposite the bridge. I've been hoping for a call all week and none forthcoming... I hope someone nice picked it up but just hasn't found me yet?!

So, it seems I am not getting it back. Whoever took it: I hereby curse you. May the sharks nibble at your toes and sudden gusts of wind pull your kite astray! Or if you're not a kiter, may an errant kite fall on your head next time you are at the beach and concuss you! May the dogs at the dog beach bite you on the backside! .....
That is sad to hear. The kiting community for the most part is filled with good people who try and help and take care of their own. Of course there are always a few bad apples in any group. Maybe it was some random beach goer who didn't make the effort. I second your curse as we all know what it is like to lose something we cherish. Tough one girl.
