Lost my Duotone Select 2023 twintip today 07.12.2024 at around 4:30pm at Henley Beach in Adelaide/SA. Lenght 138cm, color mix of red, blue, green. Finder will be rewarded!

I was sailing Sems this arv. I did not see it. Generally the swell with take a board (I think any board) to the shore very quickly. I just don't think it would have been taken out to sea today. If you have not found it by walking up the beach by 2km, then I would be looking at the pawn shops to see if it's turned up there. Good luck. There was a windsurfer 12 years ago that had failed uni-joints causing his sail and board to separate when he was sailing at Sems. This happened twice - two different days. And twice his rig ended up at Largs jetty, and twice the rigs got stolen (he recovered one rig at Cash Converters with the help of the cops). One kiter mentioned he saw somebody load the sail up into a van. Just not quick enough !. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than at the Largs Jetty. We must be cautious.

Yeah wind and waves were coming quite onshore, so I also thought it will be back at the beach at no time. Walked up and down the shore from Henley Beach South to Henley Beach Jetty 3-4 times yesterday, today morning again up to Grange Jetty - nothing. Might head out to some local pawn shops next week, thanks for the tip!

If you could post a photo of your board on here (or even an online catalogue picture of it). Then it's google searchable if somebody is trying to find its owner. Might be worth visiting the cops to see if it's lost/found etc. If I saw a board float in with no rider, the first thing I would do would be to ring the water police to start a search (thinking of the worse case scenario). But, most beach goers would never make that connection.

As I'm a new member, I can't post photos or links yet. Just had a call with the water police and Henley Beach police station - nothing. Will check Cash Converters the next few days.
