Hello all...I've lost the new family vehicle!! Picture this...Kiting a few months...Kids'r getting into it too...Hubbie's so impressed with all of us, he buys the coolest "underground" board... & whaddoIdo??? Take it out on the Caloundra bar & loose it in the (expletive) current. Have walked the whole of Bribie on foot....(well.. not really..but it sure feels like it when u have chafing...) If you've heard of an 07 Underground being found on the Sunny Coast please return it to Toni and don't even think about a reward. We've been watching this determined mother of 4 squeeze every last spare minute to get on the water and it's an inspiration.

My mate bought a board 2nd hand the other day. The guy in the shop gave him the marker pen and said cross out the other guy's name and put yours on before you leave. It does appear that alot of boards are found by honest people which is nice to know still exist in our society

To the guy who (I heard)bought a board off a friend who found it whilst fishing - even if it wasn't my board, it would have been easy to find the owner....every local kiter & kite store would be able to put u in touch with the owner of a stray board.....I found an outrigger paddle (blade) whilst searching for my board...& yes it did occur to me to sell it...but when I found the owner of it, handing it back to them was so much better than receiving a fistful of cash....they were so grateful to get it back! So if the board that u have paid money for was a beautiful blue 07 Underground (that was given to the kids & I as a surprise) hardly used.....I feel sorry for you because you will never see how grateful we would've been if you would have tried to find the rightful (& somewhat wiser) owner...& that's all I'm going to say about that... You have a nice life.
Sorry to hear you haven't got your board back yet Tojo I have just had mine stolen from my shed so maybe you might get the chance to buy a nice new FLEX42 shortly.
Whispers are that a local Sunny Coast fisherman found the board and sold it to a mate at Pt Macquarie for cheap.
If you kite at Port and see a dude on a brand new Underground that he got for a bargain.....tell him I will give him double what he paid for it. It will still be a cheap birthday pressie for Tojo.

Thanx Dave, It might sound silly, but probably because of the sentimental value of the board it's not really about the dollar value of it anymore- .....(yes I know!!... I REALLY need to get ova it) & it was only a board (but a very special 1!) & there are so many more important things in life!!!! And don't get me started on that 1!!!! 
So u can shoot me down if i ever mention my lovely, brand spanking new 07 Underground in this post for ever more. From now on I shall only speak of Global Warming & the Nuclear debate.. oh & water restrictions & correct water tank maintenance, & the importance of corect speling & that's all I'm gona say about that.....
Oh & Rusty7?? We'll b keeping an eye out 4 a nice FLEX42...duno that even a low life thief'd be dopey enuf 2 try & sell a stolen board locally...but if he is that dumb, I'll be waiting with my skills of torture - i am very good - just ask my husband.....
man that is sad, i feel sorry for you and i hope you do get your board back! my mate here lost his last week aswell which was sad and his hasnt turned up either. my dad told me about some dopey kids stealing a kite from the beach! and tried 2 buy a bar and got caught! thieving lil F***s should burn! btw its a FLX not a flex
