The english guy who rescued my board said he had passed it on to someone for safekeeping ( saw him again this evening )...
I got my kite back okay - it was very tangled - took ages to untangle - so no-one left on the beach by the time I walked back to Leighton Railway Bridge... No sign of board or anybody so I continued on to Leighton Kiosk where my car was parked.... etc... etc...
kite board = underground with green top - underside with art deco girl drawing underneath and very distinctive 4 x 100mm long fins...
