ok guys, landing a kite and found what would look like some sort of qr or something.
its a ring with bar welded on one side bisecting the ring. its on some sort of handle(black) but it has a logo sort of thing on it that says wave (yellow)
it was in the kite rigging up sorta area south of the bridge. i will post a photo when i get the digital back or look at the scanner image

It's a Wave Grenade from Slingshot. It holds the 5th line beneath the bar and the leash clips onto it. Its to prevent the kite "bowtie"ing in the surf.
Find a local on an 06 Fuel and he'll be glad to get it back!!
