I lost a Naish Kite bar at Wellington Point today from my Naish Cult 2010. If you can't find the owner, please consider sending it to me. I'll put an advert out for my lost bar.
Just so there's no mis-interpretation, I hope you find the correct owner. It's great your doing everything you can as it's not very nice to lose something, especially when it's preventing someone from kiting. I know how that feels. Best of luck with that.
The best thing to do is to give it to a shop if it's next to the place it was lost. If there is no shop then post it on Seabreeze as you've done. Following that, yes, give it to the police. If someone doesn't collect it within 6 months, it is legally yours. At that point I will have bought another one anyway so please ignore my request as following sleep and getting over my disappointed I've realised it to be inappropriate. The thought came to me that I've lost my bar, you can't find the owner for the same type of bar.... but anyway you have to follow the legal protocols.
^^^ seems perfectly reasonable to me, if dafrog can't find the real owner, and you pay postage, then why not? 
well I'm actually staying here longer, another month, Appreciate your comments. I just find it a bit weird the guy would not post on here or gumtree for it... Oh well... Anyhow i don't need/want the bar so would happily pass it on to someone else in need but would need to keep contact if I ever come across that guy... that is after the next month I'm here.
