I was speaking to council today and they found a board on the beach. I couldn't get what brand or model or even colour it was but I will retrieve it. If you're lucky, it'll be yours.
I'll post again with the winning ...... er ..... board details once I know them. Will the owners please queue here.

We have identified the board and now have it with us in the trailer. And the board is ........ drum roll please ....... A Cabrinha board.
If you can describe the correct model, colour and size, you may collect it from us. It cost us a case of beer to retrieve it from the finder so would appreciate the same.

Not mine but lost a board at melville yesterday. Do you know of any council or organisations I could contact to see if it was found? Or where would be a good place to look?

Hi Oosh,
We have a friendly local council worker who drives the tractor that towes the beach sweeper (surf rake). He starts at 4.30am most mornings and sweeps the beaches to remove weed and debris.
We swap him beer for boards, bars and lines, kites 
Whatever he finds. He even found a pneumatic speargun recently. 
Check with the rangers or council to see who cleans the local beaches and try and track down the guy who is responsible. If he's a good guy you may be able to get gear back. We have established a good relationship with him over the years.

We've had this board for three weeks now. Unless it is claimed within the next week, the board will be sold off or given to a noob who can use it.

I lost an Airush Switch at the same time as the Cabrinha was found. Never did get the Airush back - maybe it turned in to a Cabrinha when I wasn't looking ?
