Left it in front of the car on the pedestrian path and drove off home tonight (19 Mar). Not there when I realised and came back. Stupid doesn't hurt but cost a bit.
Fingers crossed a decent person found and took it to find the (stupid) owner
will call the surf club tomorrow - maybe someone dropped off there?
