got a month off work and want to get to WA to play in the waves a bit, i know its the changing season but want to here from anyone that really knows the wind in WA in sep/oct, and the best spots , thinking about hiring a van for a month.

any other idea's , East coast is rubbish , getting out of winter into summer , no real wind , even looking at getting out of the country for a while but most places are in the middle of change season, any advice much appreciated as usual,
thanks

MC,
You'd need to head North to Shark Bay - Exmouth at that time of the year in WA, last year i got a few kites in around Perth but it was short and sweet.

Last year there was a kiting season opener expo in Exmouth from the 4th - 11 th of October which i heard was great. planning on heading up there this year.

Hi mc,

You need to go up north in September Oct. Most crew head to Gnaraloo or Exmouth. Anywhere between Carnarvon and Exmouth should be pretty good. Should score some mondo swell at that time too, anywhere between 3 and 5 metres at places like Gnaraloo and other more secret breaks can easily get mast to mast and a half high in the old Poley scale. Maybe even bigger

And no, Gnaraloo is no longer a secret location and hasn't been for years. Usually friggen packed with the hordes, especially in school holidays

Have a good trip and bring good medical supplies! Practice suturing open wounds without anaesthetic

It is a beautiful time of year in Exmouth if you don't mind every one else whinging about the wind. If your after the most time on the water google exmouth campervans.
