My trips have always been down south or Bali since grommie days and now im looking to venture north to find some flat water. Im aware of the wave side of it, but I just got a Lunacy board for flat water and looking forward to get some flat action. Can any body guide my gps. cheers
i was in broom last year around march. it was perfect for a 12m for the 2 weeks i was there... the only thing is cable beach is covered with flags so you have to go to the nude beach :)

Cocos Keeling islands are pretty much kite heaven in WA, good trade winds in Winter, magic left handers, troppo island lifestyle, its pretty cheap to go without the tours too, share a house ( 7 days, return flights inc, etc) for around $1500.

I just love the tropical islands, theres damn good fishing, diving and snorkelling (in july you can go swimming with about 300 hammerheads as they peacefully school, mantas and turtles etc), fun night life too, oh and they're an atoll.
