Never really thought much about wave riding.Mainly because I`ve been to preocupied learning to stay up on the board for more than five seconds.![]()
But yesterday three of us went down Secret Harbour. And to be honest the waves were not really big at all and I wasn`t actually doing much proper wave riding. But what a blast! Actaually some of the swells comming in were quite big and ramping off and riding down them is just awsome. You learn so much more about kite handling and board positioning I`m sure it can only add to your kiting skills. I most definitely wouldn`t try the big waves just yet. I can see how things can go wrong very quickly. But props to the guys and gals that can and do>![]()
Will definitely be going back to Secrets for more wave riding, or as some might say, shore break crashing.
Even though we did see a shark lerking about.
I guess they like wave riding as much as te rest of us.
Saw one at Shoalwater on sunday in the sand bar. I`m sure these sharks are only following me to check out my awsome skills.
Or is it cause they know I crash alot?
