i have contacted the owners of this site

a scammer from colombia is active

be very careful when communicating your wishes to buy anything

don't send any money unless you have made absolutely clear who you are sending it to

be suspicious from the get-go

sorry for the rise in sentiment

but this is real

..... i like to talk over email aswell... i have some friends who have plenty of kites and wings in colombia if you want to check him out more, think they are more intrested in selling to americans then aussies tho.

but i really think buying in person is the way to go most kiters are happy to sit there and drink one of your tasty beverages while watching you poke the kite for half an hour seeing if it deflates etc

So Kiterdad you were buying some "Gear" from Colombia!! i hear they have good Gear over there!

I think I might have seen the Ad as well i think it said something about how it gives you really good boost, gets you really high, great up nose sorry I mean upwind performance, really easy to set up and do the lines, 4 or 5 lines or however many lines you want

I did think it was a little odd how they measured the kite in grams not meters though

ive said it before and ill say it again, if you do find yourself in Colombia make sure your snail lines are like 1/4 the size as your aussie fat slugs

Has he done anything scam-worthy, or are you just suspicious he might do?

Reason I ask, is there is an Italian kiter called Stefano who moved to Melbourne late last year, kites at Brighton on North Vegas's, and just so happens to have gone to Columbia for 2 months to escape our freezing winter! And his English is pretty bad, spoken ok, but his spelling is non-existent!

Just saying...

i wouldn't be paying too much attention to the This member is possibly located in Colombia line.

I have noted on several occasions when communicating with other uses via Seabreeze this line is often wrong. Recently I was corresponding with a user in NSW yet the line suggested he may be in the USA.

There are loads of reason this line my be incorrect.
